Barbados is a beautiful island. It is visited by many tourists who like the sunshine, hot, sand and the sound of the sea. Inhabitants like the tourist because they are their way of earning money. But there are also some manners which they do expect from them. They like very much if the guest is polite and say good morning or just say hello if they meet. It could be the both person completely stranger they say to each other hello or even ask “hi, how are you, have a nice day”. This could be manners which are very unusual for us and if we did not check them before we arrive there it could sound very impolite from us if we did not do the same. The most common eating types are the flying fish and pepperpot. The last one is pork stew in a dark spicy sauce. They are very delicious and you must try it. The most common alcohol which they are drinking and serving is the rum. They like it very much and even it is an old custom to drink rum. It comes from the captains of the ships or from the people who were working on the ships. They have many pubs and restaurants not just because of the guests. People from Barbados like very much the fun and they make a lot of parties or gatherings with the friends. They are used to the kind of life and they are very happy that they can keep even now their customs. As you can see it is quite important to know something about the place and people before you are going to spend there the holiday. Of course it is not easy to get used to it but you can try and feel that you are part of that population. If you do so it is easier for you to understand their way of thinking and living.
Traveling is always full of fun and relaxation. The advice is that it could be even better if you are interested to the place not just wanting some relaxation.
